HOW TO USE: Westland Landscape Bark is easily applied by hand.
AS A MULCH: It can be applied at any time, although spring and summer are the best times. Soil should be covered to a minimum depth of 50mm (2”).
EXISTING BEDS & BORDERS: Prepare the border by removing all weeds and debris. Spread a layer of bark 2.5-5cm deep over the area ensuring that the mulch reaches under the plant canopy and covers the root area.
NEW BEDS & BORDERS: Prepare the area by removing all weeds and debris. Spread a layer of bark 2.5-5cm deep over the area.
AFTERCARE FOR BEDS & BORDERS: Remove any annual weeds as they appear. To maintain a good mulch layer, replenish the area with fresh bark annually.
UNDER FRUIT TREES & FRUIT BUSHES: Prepare the area under fruit trees and fruit bushes by removing all weeds and grass. Spread a layer of bark 2.5-5cm deep over the area right up to the tree and bush trunks.
PATHWAYS: Prepare the pathway by removing all weeds and debris. Spread a layer of bark 5cm deep over the path.
AFTERCARE FOR PATHWAYS: Remove any annual weeds as they appear. To maintain a good bark layer, replenish the area with fresh bark annually.

Great product

Great product and excellent delivery. Incredibly heavy and bulky, so really convenient to have it delivered to my door. The bark has hugely reduced the mud bath the dogs bring into the house
